During December 16 – 21, 2013 Canadian Blood Services held an Honour Clinic For Jay called Jays Angels. Thirty-two units were donated during this week, resulting in ninety-six people receiving the gift of life! Each donation (unit) provides red cells, plasma, and platelets to those in need. Jays Angels would like to express a huge thank you to everyone who honoured Jay with a blood donation during the Jays Angels Honour Clinic. If you were unable to donate during this week you still can honour Jay with a blood donation throughout the year. To do this go to any blood donor clinic and use “Jays 012501” when donating.

In arrangement with Canadian Blood Services, Jay’s Angels is bringing awareness to the importance of blood donation by sharing the story of one man’s life-long need for blood, having lived with a rare disorder.
